Four, maybe five years ago I was working 3 part time jobs and living in Marshfield. As part of one job, my coworkers and I got to participate in the local Holiday parade. I'll never forget it, the memories we made as not just coworkers, but friends, but mostly because it was so COLD. Typical Wisconsin.
What really stuck out was that it was my first time ever being a part of something that brought in the local radio stations. Cue 95.5 WIFC, I meet Dave Kallaway & his (at the time) co-host Stacy Cole. STARSTRUCK. At this point in my life, I had NO idea what I wanted to do, let alone even consider working in radio. I remember Dave taking a picture with my coworkers and I, (we were dressed up as snowmen in tutus and my boss was a HUGE fan).
So I did a little digging……. okay
a lot
of digging….
It's pretty cool to reminisce while thinking about where I am today. Looking at this picture brings back so many great memories with an even greater group of women. I see a girl who has no idea of what's to come, I know she wouldn't believe it if you told her she'd be driving for WIFC in
2019's Holiday parades
, let alone be the co-host for Kallaway on the Rise. But here we are.
Before I get too cliche about chasing your dreams or how anything is possible, I'll leave you with this:
Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays!
See you at the parades!
