Ever cook salmon?? I run into listeners all the time who either haven’t tried cooking it at all or they’re looking for new recipes to cook it a different way. Here’s one of my go-to recipes now that is simple and tastes super good. It’s Maple-Glazed Salmon…
First..put a 1/4 cup maple syrup in a flat bowl..add 2 tablespoons of soy sauce..1 clove of garlic minced and salt and pepper to taste. Mix that up in the bowl then add the salmon. Cover it and put it in the fridge for a half hour..flip the fish over..and put back in the fridge for another half hour. To cook..pre-heat a small cookie sheet in a 450 degree oven. When it’s up to temp..put the salmon in and cook for about 12-15 minutes. I normally try and crust up the salmon just a little at the end by turning the broiler on..so you get direct heat on top of those salmon fillets. Only leave it under the broiler for a minute per side. Take it out and enjoy!! And really…leaving it just like this taste really good. But if you want to add even more wonderful maple-soy flavor…take your marinade and cook that in a small pot on top of the stove. Then use that as a sauce over the salmon. A very good…very, very easy recipe!! I know you will love it!!
