The Covid-19 Relief Concert Series has been amazing. Saturday nights you can watch online concerts from JEM productions. This has been WAAAY more then artists opening up their laptops and jamming'..no, no..this has been fully produced concerts with awesome local bands..they play and you the viewer send in donations to help area charities. The thing is…I can't go to them anymore.
I've been intro-ing the concerts and doing the photography at these shows..where I physically have been at Joe Ellis's warehouse. We've made sure that we kept the number of people working the shows..like camera people, sound and lights guys and me..were all keeping our distance from one another..but now..it's just too risky to keep going. WIFC will still promote the concerts..they will continue!! But it makes sense for me to stay away. I will so miss talking to the bands that play there and photographing them. It's been one of the things I can't wait to get back to when all this CoronaVirus is really over.
