It’s the changing of the seasons that gets me ready to take pics galore of new color, new scenes, things I haven’t thought about in months.
((Taken recently at the Pond Skim at Granite Peak..Easter Day was their last day of the season)
That snow melting leads to using macro lenses or whatever will get your close to nature..little buds a blooming. Even my time lapse buddies are eyeing the start to finish for tree buds, flower buds..a great thing to focus on!
((One of the buds from our lilac trees..it’s go time..they’re blowing up right now!!))
The main thing for the changing of the season to is start thinking of photo projects. Something you would start from scratch or figure out how to shoot certain objects, portraits, or landscapes differently..something you haven’t tried. Slow shutter? Astro-photography? Yes. Shooting an entire wedding in black & white? Yes..with the bride’s permission Ofcourse. Just give yourself a good carrot at the end of your photography stick. What will elevate what you’re taking pictures of. The changing of the seasons is prime time for getting that figured out…
