WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) – There was a fire at the Trapp River Golf Course in Wausau on Thursday night.
Fire crews from Wausau, Maine, and Texas responded around 8pm. A golf course employee told WAOW-TV it was an electrical fire that started in the rest room. There were no injuries.
As of Friday morning, the clubhouse is still closed but the golf course will open.
The fire is under investigation.
