WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — One person was seriously injured following a hit-and-run crash on Wisconsin 29 near County Road J on Sunday.
According to a news release from the Wisconsin State Patrol the driver of a Chevy Impala was struck by another vehicle that was operating recklessly. The vehicle then drive off before officers could arrive.
Officers describe the suspected vehicle as a “beat up” green two door pickup with a long box and a possible light bar. Witnesses say the vehicle will likely have drivers-side, front-end damage.
Anyone who might be able to identify the pickup is asked to call the State Patrol at 715-845-1143 and reference case #000209-3125.
