STEVENS POINT, WI (WSAU) — A Stevens Point woman was the victim of a stolen vehicle Monday night in the Target parking lot.
According to the woman she was approached by a man wearing bulky clothing including a grey sweatshirt and a camo mask over his face. He grabbed the woman and demanded she hand over her keys. threatening to stab her if she didn’t.
He managed to get the keys from her, and took off in the vehicle towards Highway 10 then exited northbound on I 39.
No further details about the suspect were released. The victim was not injured in the incident, and says she couldn’t tell if the suspect had a knife or not.
The vehicle is a blue 2016 Chevy Cruze with Wisconsin plates 310 YHZ. The car also has a State Park sticker on the windshield.
Officers say anyone who sees the vehicle should consider the occupants armed and dangerous and call police immediately.
