MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — Veteran utility man Jace Peterson is leaving Milwaukee after signing a two-year free agent deal with the Oakland A’s.
Peterson was a man without a position after the Brewers re-signed Mike Brosseau and also acquired Jesse Winker and Abraham Toro in the Kolten Wong deal. They are also expected to use Brice Turang at second base and give some of their minor league outfielders a look this season.
Peterson was having a good year before an injury cost him 29 games and left him less than 100% after he returned.
