MADISON, WI (WSAU) — Despite being forced to a fifth set, the Wisconsin volleyball team moved on Thursday night with a 3-2 win over #11 ranked Penn State. The scores were 25-21, 25-19, 23-25, 20-25, 15-8.
The Badgers outblocked the Nittany Lions 23-9. Caroline Crawford had a career high 12 stuffs. Anna Smrek & Danielle Hart had eight each.
Sarah Franklin & Smrek had 13 kills each. Devyn Robinson added 11. MJ Hammill had 22 assists and Izzy Ashburn had 20
Gulce Guctekin had 18 digs and Julia Orzol added 16.
The Badgers will now face #6 ranked Pitt on Saturday night.
