UPDATED: Thorp Police have identified the woman as of Thursday afternoon. No further information was released.
THORP, WI (WSAU) — The Thorp Police Department is looking to identify a woman wanted in connection with a fraud accusation.
According to a release from the Wisconsin Crime Alert Network she was spotted at Kwik Trip on East Hill Street on April 14th. The woman in question was seen on security cameras at the gas pump island at about 5:30 PM.
No physical description of the person in question was given, but they did release a photo of her taken from a surveillance camera.
It’s unclear what type of fraud is being investigated, and officers say they do not want to release further details to not compromise the investigation. They did confirm that the investigation does not involve the Kwik Trip.
