WISCONSIN RAPIDS, WI (WSAU) — The vehicle of a missing Wood County woman has been recovered in North Dakota.
Sheriff Shawn Becker says Claudine Leibl’s Toyota was found in Fargo, though she was not with it.
The 61-year-old was traveling from Montana to North Dakota to see family in mid-August but never showed up. She was scheduled to return to Central Wisconsin later in the month.
Friends and family say they haven’t heard from her in weeks and her phone has been off since September 11th. The Wood County Sheriff’s Office reported her missing on Monday.
