MARSHFIELD, WI (WSAU-WAOW) – Tuesday morning’s storm rolled over Central Wisconsin surprising homeowners and drivers alike with hail in parts of Central Wisconsin.
Cars, houses, and many other personal items were damaged.
When storms like this end, homeowners should act quickly to protect their homes and property.
“First thing I would do after a weather event like today would be to take a look if you have damage to your auto make sure that you have comprehensive coverage, if you do get ahold of a body shop because there’s more insurance agencies out there than body shops and your going to want to get in line to get your vehicle repaired,” said Nick Arnoldy, Insurance Broker for Marshfield Insurance.
Any time there’s severe weather like this and you have to be out in it make sure you’re watching the road and never drive through streets covered in water. remember: turn around, don’t drown. Flooding was reported on Stewart Avenue and Grand Avenue in Wausau. Marshfield and parts of Clark and Wood counties saw widespread hail.
