
Six months ago, I probably would’ve been too embarrassed to post this picture of me and my beautiful daughter. She had her first homecoming dance over the weekend, and her date’s mom offered to take this photo. I was 23 pounds heavier 6 months, and I wasn’t confident in pictures of me without a full face of makeup on.
Since starting the vitality program and eating better I have not only lost weight, but my skin is looking healthier too!
I will post the results of my blood tests soon so we can see the internal differences the Vitality Program has made. I just know it will be good news because I can feel it.
I was at a conference last week and at the conference I had to eat the food available, so I had more carbs than usual and some sugar too. I ate salads for dinner thank goodness because I was not feeling well after lunch. I felt bloated and jittery, just not good. I’m excited to get back to my regular diet. Although it will be short lived because I leave for another conference on October 6th.
You may read this and think, 23 pounds in 6 months isn’t a lot of weight to lose, but I went into this knowing that this is a health plan not a weight loss plan so the weight wasn’t going to come flying off. I lost weight quickly at first and it’s been slowly coming off since. I am happy with the weight I’ve lost, but even happier with how I feel. I can’t see myself going back to my old habits knowing how much better I feel now.
