I started the Eleve Vitality program last February. It started with all the testing so we could see the data of where I was at in the beginning. I was measured, had pictures taken, blood drawn, did the DEXA scan, resting metabolic, and VO2 Max testing all to get the baseline. I got my plan from Katrina and Dr. Babiarz and worked the plan as best I could. My energy increased, was sleeping better, managing stress a little better and overall, I was feeling better. I went from a size 14 to a size 8/10.
We are approaching the one-year mark I’m still feeling great. I worked with Kirsten, the clinical nutritionist to add things back into my diet and I’m maintaining. I can definitely tell what foods make me feel not so great, so I just don’t eat them.
Working out is where I know I fell short in this program. I wish I had been able to work out more through the whole process, but my schedule is so crazy I don’t even have time to clean my house and that stresses me out and stress affects my sleep so sometimes it’s a choice. There are days I leave the house before 8 and don’t get home until after 10. There are days I get done with work and don’t sit down until we eat dinner at 7 or 8pm. If I had a more consistent schedule I would go to the gym, but I move in lots of other ways so I hope when I have my next VO2 Max I do better than the first time.
I am so glad I did this program. I learned so much about my health. I saw the data that made all the change worth it and I know I’m going to live healthier longer.
