One year ago, I nervously stepped onto the DEXA scan machine at Eleve, not quite sure what I’d see—or what the numbers would mean.
Today, I went back for my 1-year scan… and the results tell a pretty powerful story.
My body score went from 74 to 76 out of 100.
Not a massive jump, but proof that steady, consistent changes really do add up.
Total body fat: down 18 pounds.
That number stopped me in my tracks. Eighteen pounds gone—without extreme dieting or quick fixes. Just small, sustainable choices over time.
Lean mass: down 6 pounds.
This one isn’t the win I was hoping for, but it’s also not the end of the story. Katrina set me up with a workout plan to help rebuild muscle, whether I’m at home or in the gym. So consider this the start of my strength-building era.
Visceral fat:
Started at 2.51 lbs, dropped to 1.93 lbs in September, and is now 2.04 lbs.
Not perfect progress—but real life rarely is. And I’m still moving in a healthier direction overall.
I’m still waiting on my blood test results, and I’ll share those when they come in.
But today feels like a reminder that health isn’t about perfection.
It’s about showing up, adjusting when needed, and trusting the slow progress most people never see.
And one year later… I’m really glad I kept going.
