BUENOS AIRES (Reuters) – The government of Argentina intends to present a new debt restructuring offer to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in the coming days, a government source said on Friday.
Argentina is trying to avoid a messy legal standoff with its creditors by striking a deal for the restructuring of about $65 billion in foreign debt.
