(Madison, WI) — Four people in Wisconsin are sick with salmonella traced back to tainted salad. The state’s Department of Health Services on Friday said Wisconsin is included in the recall of BrightFarms salads.
The pre-bagged salad mixes were sold at Pick ‘n Save stores, Metro Market, Copps and select Wal-Mart stores across the state. DHS says people started getting sick last month.
BrightFarms is recalling nine different types of salad mixes. DHS says if you have any of the mixes in your fridge, throw them out.
The recall includes salad products with best buy dates through July 29, 2021.

- BrightFarms NutrigreensTM (3 oz. package)
- BrightFarms Butter Crisp TM (4 oz. Package)
- BrightFarms Harvest Crunch® (4 oz. package)
- BrightFarms Mighty Romaine TM (4 oz. and 8 oz. package)
- BrightFarms 50/50 Spring & Spinach (4 oz. package)
- BrightFarms Spring Crunch (4 oz. package)
- BrightFarms Spring Mix (4 oz. and 8 oz. package)
- BrightFarms Sunny Crunch ® (4 oz. and 8 oz. package)
