NEW YORK, NY (WSAU) — The Milwaukee Bucks defeated the New York Knicks in a Sunday matinee 112-97 at MSG.
Seven Bucks found the score sheet, and all seven scored at least ten points in what was a very balanced scoring effort. Khris Middleton led the way with 24 points and eight rebounds, while Giannis Antetokounmpo added 20 points, 10 rebounds, and 11 assists.
Bobby Portis scored a double-double with 19 points and ten rebounds (five offensive, five defensive). Rodney Hood and Pat Connaughton teamed up for 24 points off the bench.
Quinten Grimes of the Knicks scored the game-high with 27 in what was his first professional start.
The Bucks never trailed in the game. They’ve now won 10 of their last 12 contests to improve to 18-10 on the season, two games back of first-place Brooklyn in the loss column. Milwaukee will stay on the east coast tonight for a game against Boston on Monday.
