It's been a tough end of the season for Wisconsin Nascar driver Matt Kenseth. Not only was he eliminated from the Chase for the Sprint Cup when Joey Logano wrecked Kenseth at Kansas Speedway three weeks ago….but now he has been suspended for two races after he intentionally wrecked Logano this past weekend at Martinsville. Logano had been dominating the races of the Sprint Cup playoffs and it looked like he was heading for the title…now that seems unlikely. It seems Logano is not well liked in the pits and Keneth's punishment is not sitting well with some but c'mon. As Nascar chairmen Brian France put it “we can't allow a driver to think the way to pay back somebody for something that happened in an earlier race is to take matters into his own hands”. Using a race car as a weapon to intentionally wreck someone is not only stupid and dangerous…it's borderline criminal. We have seen hockey players charged with crimes for using their stick as a weapon during a game. What's the difference here? The old days are gone. Get used to it. We don't allow head hunting in baseball anymore and we can't allow 'self-policing” of this stuff on the racetrack. Logano may be an ass…but Kenseth is wrong here. Luckily not dead wrong.
Jabari Parker is back tonight for the Bucks. Milwaukee will finally have the starting lineup they thought they would have to start the season. Now if OJ Mayo and John Henson can get healthy they will have a potent second unit too. hey host Philly and you can hear the game on Foxsports Radio AM1390 & FM 93.9.
Steve Martin and Edie Brickell have a new bluegrass/country album out. I ordered it yesterday. Stuff like this along with Don Henley's new one “Cass County” is the perfect antidote for the crappy “bro-country” sound permeating the air. Authentic music played and sung. Yes please!

Rock On-David Essex (1973) a classic one-hit wonder is this moody rememberance of younger days. Essex later starred in an underated rock & roll movie called 'That'll Be The Day”
