If you're considering a big change in how you eat..this might work for you. I stopped eating fast food as my new year's resolution. And the biggest change in doing that is planning what to eat instead. I've become much more of a planner at home and take lunch to work now. I used to run out and eat a monster fast food breakfast or lunch and then be stuffed til dinner. I never snacked in between meals. So now I get my snacks together the night before..like a salad or sandwich or cheese sticks, some almonds…so that I can eat a few times during the midday. It's been waaay easier than I expected and I know why. I'm staying full. I start eating earlier in the day..and stay that way through the day with healthier choices in what I eat. You never look at that as an alternative until you try it and fully decide to get fast food behind you. Now even my doctor has said to me “I don't want you to feel like you're missing something..so if you fall off the wagon and have a burger at a fast food place..don't feel bad about that.” And he's right..that's happened a couple of times because of timing and not having food with me. It's really all about planning ahead and staying with prepping stuff to eat for the day. Are you a snacker or not?? And is what you're doing part of an organized diet or not?? Share your story at
