Folks it's time for one of Wisconsin's staple foodie events..Beef-A-Rama in Minocqua this weekend!!! I know plenty about this event because I've had the honor to be a judge at it a half a dozen times..and trust me..there's plenty to eat and drink!!! If you've never gone..here's the set up. The business peeps in Minocqua cook up big sides of beef anyway they want. I never knew how many ways you could cook beef until I went to this. They serve up the beefs for we judges and the public to try..and what's left is paraded down to a local park, sliced up and sold as beef sandwiches…what's not to love!!
The other fun factor of the day is themes!!! Each Beef-A-Rama Beef crew has a theme to run with…Disco worked perfectly!! Check out that boombox on wheels..which is actually their beef hauler!! LOL
Beef-A-Rama runs all day on Saturday Sept 30th in Minocqua. Arrive as early as you can stand it because parking is crazy up there!!
