It’s the one thing that brings soooo many elements of Christmas together..a holiday parade. Now that we just finished up the last ones in Wausau and Merrill..I can tell ya..that’s where the spirit of Christmas is.
Prime example would be Steve and Nancy Woller. They’re the ones who head the Wausau Balloon Rally every July..they have the mad skills to put a float together..and they sooo bring their A game to Holiday parades. They take the baskets and burners used for hot air balloons..stick it all on a flat bed and go!!! They not only enter the Wausau Holiday Parade..but a few others too. By the time we see Steve driving by we’re a little frozen..and those flames warm us right back up!!!
And the other part of Christmas spirit is running into Santa..so fun to take pictures around him when kids are rattling off all the things they want for Christmas. This pic taken at Stevens Point’s Christmas Parade. Soon now..we’ll get those lights off our radio station vehicle and get ready for our own family get together..now that we’ve done several holiday parades in many communities…that’s the spirit of Christmas!!
