MILWAUKEE, Wi (WSAU) — Every starter had at least one hit and the Milwaukee Brewers opened their four game series at St. Louis with a 4-3 win on Thursday night at Busch Stadium.
Luis Urias hit his 4th home run of the season as part of a two run first inning. The Brewers added single tallies in the 2nd and 4th. The Cardinals scored twice in the once in the 7th.
The other Brewer RBIs went to Christian Yelich, Andrew McCutchen and Tyrone Taylor.
Eric Lauer struggled with his command but did pick up the win giving up two runs on four hits with one strikeout and four walks in five innings. Josh Hader returned to action and picked up his 16th save.
The Brewers have won 3 of 4 to begin their road trip and will face the Cardinals again tonight…pre game show at 6:40 on WSAU.
