TOMAHAWK, WI (WSAU) — A Tomahawk man who left home in mid-November, 2021 remains missing, and law enforcement is putting out another call for information on his whereabouts.
Friends and family say David Lee Strahota told them he was going to hunt “down south” for a couple of weeks and hasn’t been seen or heard from since November 17th, 2021.
It’s believed he may have been headed to the Fox Valley, southern Wisconsin, or northern Illinois. No more specifics were provided and he did not provide details of who he may be hunting with. His friends and family say it’s not typical for him to be gone for months on end, and they are concerned for his safety because he does have some health conditions.
The 61-year-old did ask a friend to take care of his animals. Others are concerned for him because he does have some health issues, and it’s not like him to be gone for extended periods.
His vehicle was left at his home.
Strahota is described as 5’4″ 200 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.
Sheriff’s officers initially put out a call for information regarding his disappearance on April 4th. Anyone with information on where he may have gone is asked to call the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office at 715-536-6272.
