Sam and Remi stumble upon a Viking ship buried in the ice during a climate change expedition in the Arctic. During excavation they discover the ship perfectly preserved and on board a slew of pre-Columbian artifacts from Mexico. How can that be? There has been no evidence of Vikings as far south as Mexico. The answers they seek send them on a dangerous mission through Mexico where they find themselves up against a dangerous enemy in cahoots with a Mexican cartel to find the fabled Eye of Heaven, a jewel the size of a man’s heart, and reveal the truth of Quetzalcoatl.
Sam and Remi don’t even know in this book don’t even know who their adversary is. They think someone in their inner circle may be working against them.
Like I brought up in a previous blog it would be tough to trust anyone in their shoes, but to suspect someone in their inner circle over people they just met? This adversary is a good one and we’re sure to see him again which is a fun thing to look forward to.
This is an exciting adventure with mysteries within mysteries. This is a fun book for anyone who wants a good adventure. Like all the others I enjoyed it a lot. I have to give this book a 4.5/5.
We move on to the next installment “The Solomon Curse” next week in the book review blog.
