MILWAUKEE, Wi (WSAU) — The Milwaukee Brewers got a walk-off single from Luis Urias in the 13th inning as they opened the second half of the season with a 6-5 win over the Colorado Rockies at American Family Field.
The Rockies had taken a 5-3 lead in the 10th inning but Hunter Renfroe tied the game with a two-out two-run homer in the Brewers half of the inning.
Milwaukee loaded the bases in the 12th but didn’t score. In the 13th, Urias came through with a bloop to win it.
Willy Adames and Andrew McCutchen joined Renfroe in hitting homers in the game.
Brent Suter pitched the last two innings to pick up the win. Corbin Burnes started and gave up two runs over five innings with 5 Ks.
