NEKOOSA, WI (WSAU) — Police in Nekoosa have arrested a 34-year-old man on more than a dozen counts of possession of child pornography following an investigation that began last May.
Police conducted a search warrant on the home of Michael Sullivan in late May, seizing several electronic devices. A search of the devices turned up numerous files containing child pornography.
On Friday police announced that he’s been charged with 13 counts of possession of child porn along with possession of THC, methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia.
Police haven’t released details of what led them to search Sullivan’s home and devices. Nekoosa Police were assisted by the Wood County Sheriff’s Office and the Wisconsin Division of Criminal Investigation.
Court action against Sullivan is pending.
