MADISON, WI (WSAU) – A former Badgers star will be wearing red and white next season as Chucky Hepburn has committed to the Louisville Cardinals after entering the transfer portal last week.
Hepburn started all 103 games he played for the Badgers, averaging 9.8 points and 3.0 assists per game over his career. As a junior in 2023, Hepburn saw his role diminish as Wisconsin brought in A.J. Storr, who went on to be the Badgers’ top scorer this past season, and Hepburn’s role evolved into more of a true point guard for the Badgers.
His announcement comes only a week after former teammate A.J. Storr found a new home at the University of Kansas and Connor Essegian officially committed to the University of Nebraska.
