GREEN BAY, WI (WSAU) — The Green Bay Packers announced their cuts on Tuesday to get down to the 53 man roster limit to begin the NFL season. Here is a list of the released players. Some are expected to be put on the practice squad later this week.

The team has signed LS Matt Orzech to a contract extension. He has appeared in 84 regular-season games during his first five seasons in the league, handling long snapping duties for all 34 contests for the Packers over the last two seasons (2023-24), for all 34 games for the Los Angeles Rams in 2021-22 and all 16 games for the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2019.
The Packers have also placed RB MarShawn Lloyd and C/G Jacob Monk on injured reserve/designated for return, placed DL Collin Oliver, WR Christian Watson and G John Williams on reserve/physically unable to perform and placed S Omar Brown on injured reserve. The transactions were announced Tuesday by General Manager Brian Gutekunst.
