No matter where I am, at work, home, the grocery store, I am always trying to keep my body moving. To me, movement looks like many different things. I could be at the gym lifting weights, walking on the treadmill or even doing yoga and stretching out my body. I am in no way a professional or a skilled athlete who is training for something, but I still want to make sure my body keeps it’s mobility for as long as it possibly can, and you should want that too! I am working with the experts at Health In Motion to learn the safest and best ways to move my body, and hopefully it helps you too.

I met with Keri Neuner, a Physical Therapist at Health in Motion in Wausau. Keri and I talked about myths about moving your body. You don’t need to be in the gym to get a movement/workout done. You don’t need expensive equipment. You can get workouts and stretches done around the house in a productive way by incorporating them into your everyday life and already busy schedule. Keri, a newer mom herself, demonstrated some very simple movements that you can do at home, at work, or even ways to get the kids interested and moving too!
