TOWN OF NORRIE, WI (WSAU-WAOW) – A 57-year-old man was found dead from a stab wound at a home on the 183000 block of Norrie Road early Sunday morning.
Deputies arrived at the scene around 12:32 a.m. on Sunday after receiving a 911 call reporting a stabbing. They found Thomas Anker with a stab wound and began life-saving measures, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Timothy Anker, 58, was arrested at the home and booked into the Marathon County Jail on a charge of first-degree reckless homicide.
He is the brother of the victim. Investigators believe the stabbing was an act of domestic violence.
The Marathon County Sheriff’s Office said there is no threat to the public.
