Nikki Montgomery

I’m a Central Wisconsin girl born and raised. I grew up in Port Edwards and attended college at UW-Stevens Point where I found my love for radio at 90FM WWSP.

After graduation I thought I would take my BA in Mass Communications with emphasis in Broadcasting and Journalism and Minor in Political Science and become a big time reporter in some major city. But instead my internship with our news station at Midwest Communications turned into a part-time job and opened the door to so many more full time opportunities within the company right here in Central Wisconsin.

I couldn’t be happier about being part of the WIFC team. I grew up listening to the station and idolized all the people on the air. Now I work here! There is no cooler feeling in the world than that.

I’m so happy that I stayed in Central Wisconsin. I couldn’t imagine my husband and I raising our three daughters and adorable cat Ashley anywhere else.

First concert: Bryan Adams 1992 at the Target Center in Minneapolis (I was 12)

Favorite color: Yellow

Favorite past times: Reading, playing games with family and friends, and catching up on great shows

Vices: Coffee and Wine

Hobby: Woodworking
