The body of missing former child actor Andrew Koening was discovered yesterday in Vancouver's Stanley Park.  Koenig's father made the tearful announcement, saying his son had taken his own life.  Andrew Koening had appeared on the 1980s sitcom "Growing Pains."

Depression is a medical condition.  It's serious.  It's real.  People can't just "snap out of it!" 

I have watched people deal with it and it's sad.  If you know someone who is depressed, the best thing you can do is treat it as a real condition because it is.
