As you know, I recently had a BBL… and no, not that BBL. I’m talking Broadband Light Therapy at Eleve! Her coach responded, “Wow, you look really good.”
And then—because the universe loves chaos—Mia loudly announced, “It’s because she had a BBL.”
Every cheerleader (and probably half the gym) snapped their heads toward me. I nearly died on the spot. I blurted out, “BROADBAND LIGHT THERAPY! It’s a skincare thing!”
I’m still recovering emotionally.
Thankfully, I’ve had some far less embarrassing compliments lately. I donate platelets pretty regularly, and at my appointment the day after Thanksgiving, the woman checking me in stopped mid-sentence and said, “Wait, you’re 45? You look way younger than that.”
Not gonna lie—that felt amazing.
