Never Forgotten Honor Flight
MOSINEE, WI (WSAU) — Monday’s Honor Flight has been postponed due to an issue between the airline and TSA.
The flight was scheduled to depart from the Central Wisconsin Airport in Mosinee, taking nearly 90 Veterans to Washington, DC to see the memorials crafted in their honor.
According to a news release from Never Forgotten Honor Flight, the group will now depart on Tuesday morning.
The flight will feature a 100-year-old WWII Veteran who fought on Iwo Jima.
Tuesday’s mission is the first Honor Flight of 2026 and the 55th overall for the Never Forgotten chapter, which serves Veterans in Central and Northern Wisconsin.
