WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) New roadwork projects begin in Wausau this week.
Bridge Street will be reduced to one lane in each direction starting Monday between 6th Avenue and 10th Avenue.
Roadwork will start in the southern-most lanes before shifting to the north.
The work will take about three weeks to complete.
There will also be a separate road project starting on Tuesday. North 6th Street will be closed between Frankin and Hamilton to replace water lines.
The work should be completed by Thursday afternoon.
