GREEN BAY, WI (WSAU) – The Green Bay Packers may be without their top pass rusher for the first month and a half of 2026 while he recovers from a torn ACL.
According to Matt Schneidman of the Athletic, the Packers plan to give Micah Parsons as much time as possible to heal before returning to the field for Green Bay’s Week 6 Sunday Night primetime showdown against his former team, the Dallas Cowboys.
Parsons has been placed on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list, which forces players to miss at least four games.
Despite missing several games, Parsons made a significant impact in his first season with the Packers, recording 12.5 sacks and 19 solo tackles. Green Bay expects to give former first-round pick Lukas Van Ness and fourth-round pick Barryn Sorrell a large portion of Parsons’ snaps until he returns.
