GREEN BAY, WI (WSAU) – Micah Parsons, the Packers’ premier pass rusher, was named to the NFL’s annual Top 100 list by his peers as a top-10 player in the league.
Parsons, 27, was ranked No. 36 last season but has risen to 8th overall this year after recording 12.5 sacks and leading the league in QB pressures in his first season with the Packers before suffering a torn ACL during the regular season.
Parsons provided fans with an update on his knee during his podcast on Tuesday, stating that his rehab has been going “really good” and that the projection that he could return in Week 6 against his former team, the Dallas Cowboys, would be “optimistic.”
“I just want to come back when I’m feeling like myself again,” Parsons added.
Head coach Matt LaFleur recently spoke to the media, stating that Parsons remains in “good spirits” and is “ahead of schedule.”
