BALTIMORE, MD (WSAU) – The Brewers scored the game’s only run on a fly ball that was lost in the sun for a 1-0 win over the Orioles.
Rece Hinds lost sight of a Joey Ortiz fly ball in the second inning. Ortiz scored on a Gary Sanchez ground-out.
Robert Gasser allowed only three hits, while throwing 107 pitches into the 7th inning to earn the win. Aaron Asbhy picked up the save with a three-up three-down 9th inning.
The Brewers notched their 97th win of the season, tying a franchise record.
