Today I pampered myself with a Luxe Lift Facial at Eleve Vitality and Aesthetics in Wausau. It was the most luxurious facial I’ve ever had!
This is what I looked like when I went in:
My skin was tired and lack luster. With age my skin has become dry, and I’ve noticed more fine lines and wrinkles. As you can see in this picture there are some crow’s feet peeking out.
The first step of today’s facial was a raspberry exfoliator. It kinda smelled like oatmeal with a touch of raspberry. It felt so nice on my skin. Betsy smoothed it on with a brush and then massaged it in to make sure my skin was nice and clean for the rest of the facial. And my skin looked like this after:

After my skin was nice and clean and exfoliated it was time for the tightening mask. It smelled like chocolate! Betsy spread it on my face, and it was very slimy at first. Here’s what it looked like while it was still wet:
Then it started to dry and tighten. It didn’t take long and I could hardly move my face as I was chatting with Betsy. She’s delightful to talk to by the way. She gave me a nice hand massage while the mask set. Here’s what it looked like all dry.
Look how smooth my skin looks! After it set Betsy rubbed a really moisturizing mask on to instantly break down the hardened mask. It felt so weird because I could feel the mask release on one part of my face at a time.
After that was washed off my face looked like this:
My skin felt so clean and so firm after the mask was washed off. The next step was red light therapy. This is the part that anyone with claustrophobia may not like. Betsy put a curved red-light device over my head and left the room for me to relax for 15 minutes.
The red light was a little warm, but not uncomfortably so. It felt really nice actually. My skin tingled slightly, but I’m not sure if that was from the light or the all-natural ingredients in the facials.
When Betsy came back and removed the red-light device, she put two different treatments on my face, a peptide treatment from ZO Skin Health, and Mystro Active Balance Serum from SkinBetter Science. My skin felt so clean, and plump and moisturized after my Luxe Lift Facial from Eleve. It was the perfect way to treat myself in the middle of the week.
I do so much for work and my kids I really needed to take some PTO and do something for myself. It was relaxing, enjoyable (because I really like Betsy), and my skin feels and looks great.
