“One” was written by Creed guitarist, Mark Tremonti, and lead singer, Scott Stapp, about the how you can't change things without the support of others. It describes the lack of unity in our society and though the song was written in the 90's that still rings true today. We are caught up in feelings of anger, violence and helplessness and when we're stuck there we can't change things for the better.
It is one of Creed's highest charting rock singles. Reaching #2 on both the U.S. Billboard Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks and Hot Modern Rock Tracks charts. I was #1 on the US Active Rock chart. It even reached #49 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100.
