ROTHSCHILD, WI (WSAU-WAOW) – Police are trying to identify a man suspected of preying on girls at a movie theater.
Marathon County Crime Stoppers reports that two 11-year old girls went to a movie at the Cedar Creek Cinema on the evening of May 2. A man approached them and said he worked at the theater. The girls say he asked them to go to another movie and he would pay for their tickets and buy them snacks.
Investigators say he also offered to take the girls to a nearby nail salon and pay for it.
The girls said they felt uncomfortable and reported the incident to theater management.
The man was escorted off the property and left the area in a light gold or silver mini-van. He’s described as being in his mid 30’s, 5’10” to 5’11”, 185-190 lbs, short cut dark hair, dark eyes, and little or no facial hair.
