SURPRISE, AZ (WSAU) — The Milwaukee Brewers won their 3rd spring game in a row as they dumped the Texas Rangers 5-1 on Thursday.
Tyler Black stayed hot with a 3-4 performamce which included a single, double and triple with two RBIs. He is 8-12 so far in spring training as he tries to earn a spot on the Opening Day Roster. He will leave camp soon to compete with Team Canada in the World Baseball Classic.
Gary Sanchez, Luis Castillo and Luis Lara also had RBIs.
Aaron Ashby worked two scoreless innings. DL Hall gave up the only run in two innings of work.
Milwaukee will face the Chicago White Sox today…pre game show at 2pm on AM1390 & FM 93.9 WRIG.
