MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) – The Mariners bounced back on Tuesday night to beat the Brewers, 7-5. The win came after a historic 22-0 loss on Monday.
Seattle jumped out to a 7-0 lead after two innings and never loocked back.
Dominic Canzone, Josh Naylor and Taylor Ward each had 2-RBI for the Ms.
The Brewer’s Joey Ortiz hit a two-run homer in the second inning and tied a career high with four RBIs.
Dustin May (6-8) didn’t make it past the third inning in his 3rd start for the Brewers since being aquired before the trade deadline.
The Brewers still lead by 4 1/2 games over the Cubs in the NL Central, who lost 3-0 to the White Sox.
