TOWN OF EAU PLEINE, WI (WSAU-WAOW) — A 62-year-old woman died after suffering injuries from a low-speed vehicle on private property near Dubay Colony Road in the Town of Eau Pleine on Thursday.
The Portage County Sheriff’s Office was notified of the incident around 4:30pm. Multiple agencies responded and attempted to provide life-saving care, but the woman, a Town of Eau Pleine resident, died as a result of her injuries.
The Portage County Sheriff’s Office and Portage County Medical Examiner’s Office are investigating the incident. Additional information will be released at a later date.
Stevens Point Ambulance, Stevens Point EMS, Rudolph EMR, Rudolph Fire and the Portage County Medical Examiner’s Office assisted during the incident.
