WILLIAMSPORT, PA (WSAU) The Brewers fell to the Braves, 4-2, in the annual Little League Classic on Sunday night in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
Michael Harris II his a solo home run and Mauricio Dubon had an RBI double as the Braves avoided a sweep.
Trailing by 2 in the 9th inning, William Contreras just missed a walk-off home run. He flew out to the warning track.
The Brewers still lead the NL Central by 6 games over the Cubs.
Milwaukee is off today and begins a road series on Tuesday against the Mets in New York. Kyle Harrison is scheduled to pitch.
