WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — The City of Wausau will be looking for a new HR Director.
After a little more than a year on the job, Lisa Nowak has announced she will leave the position for a “new chapter in her career,” according to HR Committee Chair Vicki Tierney.
Tierney made the announcement at the end of Monday’s HR Committee meeting, saying Nowak’s “compassion and expertise” would be missed.
Her last day will be July 31st. Mayor Doug Diny has not commented on the move, and it’s unclear when the position will be posted on the city’s job board.
